Tonsils Treatment the Tibenabvi Way

Tonsillitis symptoms start to appear in the first week of viral attack. This means that tonsillitis cure should be implemented immediately. If proper medication is ignored, the disease leads to severe conditions form where surgery can become an only option. Our Beloved Prophet S.A.W. advised us to take extreme care of health and take proper measures to fight diseases.

Tonsillitis viruses have a long history of causing illness especially among children and the best remedy to this is provided in Tibb. Following is a home remedy for tonsils treatment as suggested by Prophet SAW.

Use Indian Costus For Tonsillitis Treatment

The most effective home remedies for tonsils is to inhale Indian costus powder through nostrils. It comes in the form of dried root and can be used in tea or by simply dissolving it in drinking water.

Muhammad Jabir R.A. narrated an episode in which Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. came to Hazrat Aisha R.A. and saw a boy with a bleeding nose. When Prophet S.A.W. realized that he is suffering from Tonsillitis, He said:

“Woe unto you! Do not kill your children. Let the mother whose child is suffering from tonsillitis or headache scrub Indian costus (aloes) with water and then administer it to the child through the nose”.

When Aishah R.A. ordered that the tonsils remedy prescription be followed, the boy was cured, showing the value of this tonsils treatment [ Shaihain]

On several occasions, Prophet S.A.W. advised using Indian Costsus for the treatment of Tonsillitis. In another incident, Prophet S.A.W. said,

“It is upon you to use Indian Costus for indeed it contains seven cures; it is inhaled through the nostrils to relieve throat aches/tonsillitis and placed in the sides of the mouth for the relief of Pleurisy” [Bukhaaree and Muslim.]

Children are more susceptible to the Tonsillitis virus because of their weak immune system and careless nature. Another Sahabi when presented his child in front of Prophet S.A.W. to seek tonsils treatment. He (S.A.W). prescribed a tonsils remedy, saying:

“You should use al Qist al Hindee (Costus)” [Bukharee and Muslim.]

The home remedies for tonsils are excellent for taking care of stopping the disease from aggravating further. Learning tonsils remedy is a necessary step towards learning how to treat the disease at home. Tonsillitis cure is actually not problematic. However, it must be diagnosed early and treated effectively with medicine and alternative medicine for maximum effectiveness.
