  • Between the Shoulders (KAHIL -upper back)

The area between the shoulders blades, most commonly in line with the inferior end of the scapula is ideal for reaping hijama benefits. This particular area is best for performing general Hajima as it is the area where toxins and impurities in the blood accumulate and stagnate especially around the 17th, 19th and 21st of the month. In traditional Chinese medicine, this point is regarded as the meeting point of blood and is used for all blood disorders whether due to deficiency or excess.

When Prophet S.A.W. and his companions ate poisoned sheep presented by a Jewish woman, Prophet S.A.W and his companions used cupping between the shoulders on point Kahil as an antidote, yet several of them died.

Patients report benefits of hijama on head to include relief from headache and improved mental clarity. This can be traced to the fact that it increases blood flow as it activates the blood capillaries to conduct blood.

It improves the health of the pancreas and enhances the overall efficiency of the digestive system. Hijama benefits are numerous and can provide relief from numerous other diseases.
