Tonsillitis symptoms start to appear in the first week of viral attack. This means that tonsillitis cure should be implemented immediately. If proper medication is ignored, the disease leads to severe conditions form where surgery can become an only option. Our Beloved Prophet S.A.W. advised us to take extreme care of health and take proper measures to fight diseases.

Tonsillitis viruses have a long history of causing illness especially among children and the best remedy to this is provided in Tibb. Following is a home remedy for tonsils treatment as suggested by Prophet SAW.

Use Indian Costus For Tonsillitis Treatment

The most effective home remedies for tonsils is to inhale Indian costus powder through nostrils. It comes in the form of dried root and can be used in tea or by simply dissolving it in drinking water.

Muhammad Jabir R.A. narrated an episode in which Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. came to Hazrat Aisha R.A. and saw a boy with a bleeding nose. When Prophet S.A.W. realized that he is suffering from Tonsillitis, He said:

“Woe unto you! Do not kill your children. Let the mother whose child is suffering from tonsillitis or headache scrub Indian costus (aloes) with water and then administer it to the child through the nose”.

When Aishah R.A. ordered that the tonsils remedy prescription be followed, the boy was cured, showing the value of this tonsils treatment [ Shaihain]

On several occasions, Prophet S.A.W. advised using Indian Costsus for the treatment of Tonsillitis. In another incident, Prophet S.A.W. said,

“It is upon you to use Indian Costus for indeed it contains seven cures; it is inhaled through the nostrils to relieve throat aches/tonsillitis and placed in the sides of the mouth for the relief of Pleurisy” [Bukhaaree and Muslim.]

Children are more susceptible to the Tonsillitis virus because of their weak immune system and careless nature. Another Sahabi when presented his child in front of Prophet S.A.W. to seek tonsils treatment. He (S.A.W). prescribed a tonsils remedy, saying:

“You should use al Qist al Hindee (Costus)” [Bukharee and Muslim.]

The home remedies for tonsils are excellent for taking care of stopping the disease from aggravating further. Learning tonsils remedy is a necessary step towards learning how to treat the disease at home. Tonsillitis cure is actually not problematic. In most cases narcolepsy victims have low levels of the chemical hypo cretin. Hypo cretin is an important neuro chemical in brain that helps regulate wakefulness and REM sleep.

Symptoms of Narcolepsy

Including often sleep attacks the symptoms of narcolepsy include

  •         Loss of muscle control
  •         Hallucinations
  •         Sleep paralysis
  •         Night time wakefulness
  •         Rapid entry to REM sleep

Prophetic Treatment of Narcolepsy

Narcolepsy must be well treated as it is a cause of obesity and car accidents. According to statistics, 30 million people are suffering for narcolepsy and the numbers are accelerating. Narcolepsy is curable and the treatment is provided in Tibb.

Rehabilitate Body Temperature Pouring Cold Water

The best treatment is to reduce the body temperature which is achieved by semi cold water splashes.

Abu Ubaid narrates an incident that some people passed by a tree that they ate from and they were soon immobilized, just as if a wind had swept through by them and froze them.

Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. was told about the situation He said:

“Cool some water in water skins and then pour the water on them between the two Azaanain (the Fajar call to the prayer and the Iqamah)”.

Modern doctors have affirmed that the remedy that our beloved Prophet prescribed in Hadith is one of the most effective against narcolepsy. Pouring some cold water on the person afflicted by narcolepsy during the above mentioned time, which is the coolest time of the night, will cause the inborn heat that is scattered throughout the body to be energized and regulate in the inner parts of the body where the ailment persists. The powers of the body will then concentrate on expelling and resisting the ailment by AIIah’s Will.

Talbina Benefits for Treatment of Diabetics

Eating talbina is highly beneficial for Type 2 diabetics. Compared to oats, which are recommended for diabetics since they help in reducing both glucose and insulin responses, it is even more effective than it. This heightens talbina benefits significantly.

  • In a test conducted by Diet and Human Performance Laboratory in Beltsville, it was revealed that barley contains 4 times the soluble fiber of common oats.
  • Barley benefits can be traced to its richness in magnesium, a mineral that serves as a co-factor for 300+ enzymes. These enzymes include those which are involved in the body’s use of glucose and insulin secretion, preventing type 2 diabetics from high uncontrolled glucose levels.
