Hazrat Anas Bin Malik reported that that Holy Prophet S.A.W said,
“Eat Safarjal early morning on empty stomach” Kanz al-Ummal – 28259.
On one occasion it was narrated by Hadhrat Talha that he once went to Holy Prophet S.A.W and saw Safarjal in the Holy Prophets’ hand and said,
Take it, oh! Talha for it soothes the heart” Majah – 3494
It is one of the most frequently mentioned fruits in the Hadiths that reflects its importance in prophetic medicine.
